IBD Awareness Trek into Iceland

Rob Hill from Intestinal Disease Education and Awareness Society (IDEAS) is planning another trip – this time to Iceland!

Previously, Rob has climbed the seven summits (the highest peak on each continent) to raise awareness about Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) like Crohn’s and Colitis, as well as Colorectal Cancer and Celiac Disease.

This exciting 7 day trip through the stunning vistas and natural wonders of Iceland will take place in 2017, so you still have time to plan, save and train! Not for the faint of heart, this trip will cover 78km, an ascent of 1000m, and shared accommodations that may or may not have electricity or hot water.

Plans have not yet been finalized, but it sounds like many people with IBD from the Nordic region are interested and there are limited spots, so if it appeals to you, get in touch with Rob as soon as possible to reserve yours. You can contact Rob through us. For more information about the trek, visit IDEAS.
